The prestigious trophy of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 made a two-day-long visit to Karachi, Pakistan. The trophy was unveiled at Edhi Home on March 30 and then toured city’s famous seaside, Hawke’s Bay, and Karachi University.
On the second day of its tour, the trophy was taken to Sindh Governor’s house.
Pakistan’s former ODI captains Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan accompanied the glittery trophy throughout the tour.
This was the trophy’s third stop - after India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh - on its tour of the nations participating in the eight-team tournament. It will tour South Africa next.
