Yasir Jan, Pakistani ambidextrous bowler, to bowl at England and West Indies

English and West Indian batsmen will witness something unique next week when they prepare for the final Test of the three-match Test series at Lord’s.

Yasir Jan, an ambidextrous bowler hailing from Pakistani town of Charsadda, will be bowl at the batsmen from the both sides in the nets, The Telegraph reported on Friday.

Jan, who can bowl with both of his arms, is said to be touching around 90 mph with his right and around 80 mph with his left arm.

The 22-year-old quick is training at Lord’s as part of the MCC’s World Cricket Committee’s commitment to help the development of Pakistani cricket.

He was unearthed by Lahore Qalandars, a PSL franchise, during their talent hunt program last year and was subsequently offered a 10-year-long contract which Jan accepted.

The third Test at Lord’s will decide the Test series that hangs in balance after West Indies staged an epic comeback at Headingly after being humiliated at Edgbaston.
