Well, who saw that coming? What was anticipated to be a high-scoring affair on one of the truest batting tracks in the Cricketing globe, ends prematurely within 36 overs! West Indies have literally stomped Pakistan and sealed a thumping victory to get their World Cup campaign off to a sizzling start. The Pakistani stringent of fans at Trent Bridge will be immensely disappointed by the lifeless performance that was on show today. They were clueless to short-ball barrage and collapsed like a house of cards in front of a pumped up and hostile Windies pace battery. From Rvel Zahid and Momin Butt, goodbye and goodnight, and do not forget to tune in again tomorrow for, what we hope, will be a mouthwatering contest between Afghanistan and Australia.

13.4 - W Riaz to N Pooran

Pooran ends in style! Rocks back and thumps it over midwicket to register a plundering triumph.

13.3 - W Riaz to N Pooran

Slightly beaten for pace there, this was fired in wide outside off stump, Pooran was nowhere near the pitch of the ball, only a hit away from routing lackluster Pakistan!

Fuller outside off, Hetmyer whips it through the leg side and bustles for another couple. Only 11 needed now! This has been a walk in the park. Who would have thought that this is going to be such a one-sided contest?
