Quick, full and straight. Starc cleans up Fernando with a perfect yorker and Australia win the series 2-0 with a comprehensive 366 run victory. They have thoroughly outplayed the Sri Lankans in both matches with the batsmen stepping up in Canberra, while Mitchell Starc was back to somewhere near his best finishing with 10 wickets in the match. Lots of positives for the Aussies with maiden tons for Travis Head and Kurtis Patterson while Usman Khawaja found some form along with Joe Burns who smashed a big 180 on day one. On the other hand Sri Lanka have a few problems to think about as they head to South Africa. Their batting has left much to be desired while they are without their first string bowling attack and the trio of Kasun Rajitha, Chamika Karunaratne and Vishwa Fernando struggled on this placid surface. Good end to the summer then for Australia and now they can concentrate on the World Cup with plenty of white ball stuff coming up.
