49.3 - A Alam to S Malik

Half volley, to leg on the front foot flick, past fine leg for 4 runs. That's going for four and Malik has done it! He's won it for Pakistan! Went for another yorker and it was on the pads and Malik got it away behind square. What a match! Aftab is in tears, he feels he could have won it for Afghanistan but it's the man with the old head on his shoulders who saw Pakistan home. A fantastic game of cricket that was in the balance right up to the end. Pakistan will be mightily relieved, there's every chance that the winner of this match will meet India in the final. Afghanistan will surely feel that that was a game they could have won, but experiences like this will go a long way to improving them as a side. That's all from Abu Dhabi after what has been an exhilarating one day international, Pakistan off to a winning start. Until next time, goodnight.

48.3 - R Khan to M Nawaz

Rashid Khan to Mohammad Nawaz. Leg spinner back of a length, to leg on the front foot Slog, missed to. Bowled him! Straight through as Nawaz goes for a slog to the legside. Another wicket for Rashid Khan and the crowd go wild. It's another dot ball and it brings another new batsman to the crease in a high pressure scenario. How do Pakistan play these next three balls?
