48.3 - R Khan to P Chase

Rashid Khan to Peter Chase. Leg spinner length ball, middle stump on the front foot Slog, leading edge in the air uncontrolled back to bowler, by Khan.

Two in two and Rashid wraps up the victory for Afghanistan. It was a close run affair with Ireland hanging in all the way through the innings, unfortunately nobody could go on and get them over the line. Balbirnie looked the most promising with a half-century but then the next highest was Wilson with 38, too many starts and they will need to convert in the next couple of games if they want to get a win. It wasn't a high-scoring affair but they usually make for tense games which is what we saw today. Afghanistan lead 1-0 in the three match series so a win in the next ODI and the trophy is in their hands.

48.2 - R Khan to G Wilson

Rashid Khan to Gary Wilson. Leg spinner length ball, middle stump on the front foot sweeping, missed to. Finally Rashid Khan gets a wicket. He has been trying all day and eventually he spins one past the bat and into middle stump. With that is probably Ireland's hopes for a victory.
