A terrific game of cricket, dominated by two excellent innings. Shaun Marsh first, blasting his way to an unbeaten 96 to set the Thunder an imposing total. Callum Ferguson went one better, though, with a match winning 113 not out. A scintillating innings, dismantling the Scorchers' bowling attack. Not a great showing with the ball or in the field from either side. The Thunder were just that little bit better. That still leaves the Scorchers at the bottom of the table. The Thunder move up to fourth on 11 points.

Drama! Ferguson reaches out to this wide delivery, drives down the ground, and only just gets enough on it to clear long off! So close.

19.1 - A Tye to C Ferguson

Slower ball half volley, wide outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control over long off for 6 runs.
