The conditions were difficult for both sides but it was the home team which compiled a better second innings and ultimately that was what won the match. Some great performances throughout the match but it was probably Nathan Lyon who stole the show with eight wickets on a quick, bouncy surface. Virat Kohli also produced a wonderful ton in the Indian first innings but it required a couple more batsmen to kick on if they wanted to compete further in the match.So, it's set up nicely as we move onto the Boxing Day Test. At 1-1 the series is anyone's and it should be a fabulous spectacle at Melbourne for the fans. Do join us then.
