55.6 - P Cummins to J Bumrah

Back of a length, off stump backing away Slog, leading edge in the air uncontrolled back to bowler, by Cummins. There it is. Cummins finishes it off with an easy catch as Bumrah tries to heave the ball into the legside but sends it straight up. The Indian tail did what most people expected and crumbled in dramatic style, losing four wickets in the space of three overs.Australia finally break their losing streak and win comprehensively by 146 runs. The conditions were difficult for both sides but it was the home team which compiled a better second innings and ultimately that was what won the match. Some great performances throughout the match but it was probably Nathan Lyon who stole the show with eight wickets on a quick, bouncy surface. Virat Kohli also produced a wonderful ton in the Indian first innings but it required a couple more batsmen to kick on if they wanted to compete further in the match. So, it's set up nicely as we move onto the Boxing Day Test. At 1-1 the series is anyone's and it should be a fabulous spectacle at Melbourne for the fans. Do join us then.

55.3 - P Cummins to I Sharma

Back of a length, outside off stump backing away cutting, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Paine. The tail is falling pretty quickly. Ishant is another one that doesn't want to get in line and with the field set he knows it's going to be short. Good idea to try and carve through point but the execution was a little off. Fine edge through to Paine and Australia are one wicket away.

54.6 - M Starc to U Yadav

Back of a length, outside off stump backing away Fended, Spliced in the air uncontrolled to silly mid on, by Starc. Brilliant over from Starc and Umesh got a real working over. After the blow Umesh took to the shoulder he wasn't looking to get in line but Starc continued to follow him. Nothing Umesh could do to get out of the way of this one and it was more protecting the body than anything else. Australia are two wickets away from victory.
