That will be the end. Imran Khan wanted a second piece of Starc but the left-arm seamer is too clever and he follows the batsmen, giving him no room. Straight up into the sky and Wade safely pouches the catch. A dominant performance from Australia to win by an innings and five runs but they were made to work hard today. Pakistan's batsmen battled hard with Babar Azam scoring a classy century while Mohammad Rizwan fell just short of what would have been a maiden ton. An all round solid performance by the Aussies. Runs on the board, followed by some blistering opening spells in both innings which put Pakistan on the back foot and they could never recover. Australia go 1-0 up in the two match series as we move onto Adelaide for the day/night Test on the 29th. That should be fun so do join us then.

Length ball, off stump backing away Slog, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to mid on, by Wade.

An incredible shot back over Starc's head. Imran gave himself so much room to allow him to free the arms and he nailed the stroke. Australia's openers will be getting twitchy as the runs keep counting down.

84.1 - M Starc to M I Khan

Length ball, outside off stump backing away driving, well timed in the air under control past long off for 4 runs.

Far too quick for Shaheen. Hits the bat hard before he is in any sort of position to play the shot. Lobs up to Cummins who has the easy job of taking the catch.
