Barbados Tridents are the CPL 2019 champions. They came into today as the underdogs, and have totally smashed Guyana here. So many stood up for Barbados tonight. Jonathon Carter stuck a vital half century, Raymon Reifer chipped in with four wickets, Harry Gurney at his usual best, and Ashley Nurse was superb again. They had a scratchy start to the tournament, but have come good at the perfect time to earn their second title. The Warriors won eleven consecutive games, but have lost the most important one. They will be considered the best side in the competition, but they couldn't deliver when they needed to. They are now five time runners up. It has been a brilliant tournament over the last six weeks, and the Tridents come out as the worthy winners. The biggest party in sport comes to a close for another year.

Reifer gets four! What an evening he is having. The slower ball works again. Green looks to hack it out the ground, but is through the shot too early. Straight up, and the easiest of chances for the keeper. Game over now.

Off cutter length ball, to leg on the front foot Slog, top edge in the air uncontrolled to gully, by Hope.

This one was right in the slot for Paul, but he miscues it this time. Holder doesn't have to move a muscle at long on, and gobbles up the chance. Gurney has two. Guyana need a miracle.
