Sri Lanka complete a very good victory at home in the first of the two Tests against New Zealand. It has been up and down over the five days but it was the home side that won the key moments. Dimuth Karunaratne stood out with his century in the fourth innings and they made the chase of 268 look extremely easy on a turning pitch. Credit also to Akila Dananjaya for his five wicket haul in the first innings and also to the Kiwis for showing fight with bat and ball when it was required. Two evenly matched teams who provided an entertaining match for both sets of spectators. On to Colombo for the 2nd Test on the 22nd. Join us then.
