The Super League quarter-final 4 of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018 was played between Bangladesh and India on Friday (26th January) at Davies Oval in Queenstown. India defeated Bangladesh by 131 runs to reach the semi-finals. What could have been a competitive match in the end became too easy for India who continue their match winning streak.
India put up a total of 265(all-out) after winning the toss and electing to bat first. Shubman Gill (86), Abhishek Sharma (50) and Prithvi Shaw (40) were amongst the players who helped India build a strong total. Qazi Onik took 3 for 48 from his 10 overs and also proved his value in the field with a superb direct hit that cost India a wicket.
Bangladesh started their chase cautiously- they lost their first wicket in the ninth over for 23. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals- before finally being bundled out for 134. Nagarkoti was the pick of the bowlers for India; he took 3 for 18 from 7.1 overs.

Next, India will meet arch-rivals Pakistan at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Tuesday 30 January while Australia meets Afghanistan in the other semi-final, also at Hagley Oval, the day prior.
