England announce 14-member squad for Windies ODIs

England will travel to the Caribbean with the same One-Day International squad that they had in India during their recent 2-1 series defeat against Virat Kohli’s men.

However, opening batsman Alex Hales will miss out the tour. Hales fractured his hand during the second ODI and was replaced by Sam Billings in the third contest at Kolkata.

The 25-year-old Billings scored 35 in the match that England won by five runs, breaking Kohli’s 19-match-long unbeaten run as Indian captain.

England play three ODIs in the Caribbean against the West Indies starting March 3 at Antigua.

England squad: Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Jake Ball, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Liam Dawson, Eoin Morgan (capt), Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, David Willey, Chris Woakes
