The Pakistan Super League (PSL) organisers have convinced the franchises owners to play the PSL final in Lahore with or without the overseas players.
The recent wave of terror attacks in Pakistan and, especially, a suicide attack on Lahore’s Mall Road – 15 minutes away from Qaddafi Stadium – threatened to put Pakistan Cricket Board’s plans to host the final at their headquarters in jeopardy.
Cricingif understand that a few owners had shown concerns on playing the final in Lahore in the aftermath of the attack.
They were invited by the league’s organisers on Monday to wither their concerns.

PCB had announced to host the final of the five-franchise tournament in Lahore last month. The body had also unveiled its contingency plan to host a draft in February’s last week which will replace the overseas players unwilling to travel to the country.
The final is scheduled to be held on March 5.
