Global T20 Canada Live Streaming, Schedule and Teams

The inaugural Global T20 League Canada 2018 is scheduled to be played in Toronto, Canada between June 28 and July 15. The league backed by Cricket Canada aims to promote cricket amongst Canadian youth. Cricket Canada along with the league owner Mercuri limited is targeting game development in the region with eyes on making the Canadian team part of the World Cup 2023. Mercuri Canada limited, the owners of the league, have previously worked with different IPL franchises including Rising Pune Super Giant and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The company that promotes itself as an active player in technology, sports, media and entertainment domains has also been associated with Tennis and Formula 1.

This is the first time an international league of this stature is being played in North America and if this league is a success this could go a long way into brining cricket to the North American region. The region already has a reasonable cricket loving population as it is home to many Asian and Caribbean expats.
