Indian team was scared of losing the test the series
Australian pacer Mitchell Strac has stated that India’s verbal confrontations with the Australian side prompted after losing the first Test match at Pune.
Starc, who suffered with a foot stress fracture after the Bengaluru Test flew back home, said that our young Australian team is touring India to play the game in a good spirit but the Pune defeat resulted in several skirmishes by India.
"It's probably come a lot more from their side than ours, there's been lot of hype before the series and as a young group, we're probably still finding our way,” said Starc.
The pacer also praised the brave effort of Australian team after holding on a draw in the third Test at Ranchi and said that Peter Hanscomb and Shaun Marsh gave a perfect demonstration of patience by battling the Indian attack on a tough day five.
Strac further added that the Indian team was scared of them after losing the first Test because beating India on their home soil has always been a tough job for any touring side.
Starc concluded that so far the team has showed great resilience and the entire team looks forward of the final Test at Dharamsala.
