The Pakistan Super League 2019 draft is all set to take place in Islamabad on November 20, according to press release from the PSL management.
The draft has been moved out from the city of Lahore in a bid to make more cities a part of PSL activities.
Before the draft takes place, all six players will finalize their player retentions by November 13. As per the rules of this season, each team can retain a maximum of 10 players.
Players who took part in last year’s season can be retained, traded or released back into the Draft pool.
This year’s draft will see the likes of AB de Villiers, Steve Smith, Rashid Khan and other top players snapped up by the six teams participating.
Pakistan Super League’s fourth edition will commence on 14 February next year in the UAE, with the last eight games of the tournament to be played in Pakistan. The final of the league will be played in Karachi on 17 March.
