SRH defend 24 off the last over to climb to the second spot
Despite a courageous effort from Delhi, there was too much left to do in the last over as Sunrisers successfully defended 24 off the last over to jump to the second position in the points table.
Here are the top moments from the game.
After sitting out for first five games, Kane Williamson was finally picked by the Sunrisers and he had an instant impact – scoring 89 off just 51 balls to set up a solid foundation for the late-comers.

Chris Morris was the only wicket-taker for Delhi as he delivered a fantastic spell to claim four wickets for just 26 runs – including 2 off the 19th over where he just conceded four runs.

With 87 required of 41 balls, Delhi chose to send Angelo Mathews instead of promoting Chris Morris despite stage being set for him – especially the 38 runs cameo against the RPS. Mathews scored 31 off 23 balls and Shreyas Iyer played his hand as well, but too much was left in the end as Morris sat in the dugout – itching to have a go.
