Mohammad Amir and Yasir Shah figured in Pakistan’s comprehensive seven-wicket win over the West Indies in the first of the three-match Test series. The contest, dominated by intermittent showers, during the first three days saw Pakistan chase down 32 in 10 overs on the last day. Amir and Yasir bagged 6-fers in the first and the second innings respectively as Windies, who were put into bat, posted 286 and 152.
Pakistan replied with 407 in their first innings, which was highlighted by Younis Khan’s record achievement of 10,000 Test runs and Misbah-ul-Haq being left stranded on 99.
