How Chase and Dowrich defied Pakistan pacers

West Indies managed 244 for 7 in 81 overs against Pakistan before the umpires called stumps due to ‘bad light’ at Sabina Park, Kingston on Friday.

After their top-order was demolished by the Pakistan pacers, the sixth-wicket stand of 118 between Roston Chase and Shane Dowrich from 289 balls took the Windies to a respectable figure of 6 for 189 from 5 down for 71.

Wahab Riaz takes a blinder.

Both batsmen struck solid fifties and were in business before Wahab Riaz’s incredible effort at the straight boundary removed Chase.
