Umar Gul and Khurram Manzoor starred in Sindh’s comprehensive win over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the eighth Pakistan Cup contest on Tuesday.
Gul picked up four wickets for 44 runs in 10 overs, denting the opposition’s innings that lasted for 39.4 overs. Leg-spinner Usama Mir and captain Anwar Ali bagged three and two wickets respectively. Veteran allrounder Shoaib Malik top-scored with 41 that took Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to 192.
Mazoor came all guns blazing and struck an unbeaten 118 from 61 balls, hitting 16 fours and six sixes. His innings saw Sindh chase down the target within 23 overs at the loss of only two wickets.
Balochistan play Federal Areas on Wednesday.
