Sri Lanka Friday announced Lasith Malinga as captain of its limited-over sides to lead the national team against New Zealand.
The 35-year-old was named skipper of a 17-man squad for three ODIs and one T20I starting January 3.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Niroshan Dickwella will be Malinga’s deputy.
