Sultans and Kings face off as latter keen to prove a point

Karachi Kings won the toss and opted to bat first against Multan Sultans in the second match of the Pakistan Super League 2019.

The second fixture of this year’s PSL will witness the Karachi Kings taking on Multan Sultans in Dubai’s Ring of Fire. Karachi have a lot to prove this season and they will be itching to return even better honors as compared to last year where they ended up second in the tournament’s Points Table.

Multan Sultans, on the contrary, ended up on fifth in PSL 2018 which was also their debut PSL. They got off to an exuberant beginning in the last edition and, at times, looked the best amongst all other teams. A string of losses, though, painstakingly kept them out from qualifying for the Finals.

Karachi Kings:

Liam Livingstone, Babar Azam, Colin Ingram, Ravi Bopara, Mohammad Rizwan , Sikandar Raza, Imad Wasim (capt), Mohammad Amir, Usman Shinwari, Sohail Khan, Umer Khan

Multan Sultans:

Shan Masood, Tom Moores, Laurie Evans, Shoaib Malik (capt), Andre Russell, Shahid Afridi, Chris Green, Junaid Khan, Hammad Azam, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Ilyas
