Faheem Ashraf has been rested for the final three ODIs against Australia, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced in a statement on Sunday.
The decision, according to the PCB, has been made in a bid to rest the front line players ahead of the all-important World Cup in England and Wales this year.
Pakistan are set to play warm-up games against Kent (April 27), Northamptonshire (April 29) and Leicestershire (May 1) before playing England in five ODIs and a T20I.
Two World Cup warm-up matches against Afghanistan (May 24) and Bangladesh (May 26) have also been scheduled for Pakistan before facing West Indies in the tournament opener on May 31.
No replacement has been sought for Faheem with five fast bowlers already in the squad.
