Hamilton Masakadza and batsman Brendan Taylor will not be a part of the upcoming four-match ODI series against UAE, Zimbabwe Cricket announced in a press release.

The pair had not fully recovered from injuries sustained in February. Peter Moor will be taking the captaincy duties in Masakadza's absence.

Taylor, who tore his right calf muscle while representing Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League 2019, has been out of competitive cricket since February 22.
