Bowlers helped Khyber Pakhtunkhwa restrict Sindh to 291, clinching a nine-run win in a last-over thriller at Rawalpindi.
With 301 to win, Sindh lost Sahibzada Farhan in the eighth over of the innings. He made 22 off 29 balls.
However, Umar Siddiq and Umar Amin gave their side a glimmer of hope with a 68-run partnership.
Siddiq (69 off 65) was dismissed off Zohaib Khan’s bowling who went on to take three wickets.
Asif Ali then took the game forward with a quick fire 42 off 33 balls. He struck five fours and one maximum during his stay at the crease.
He was later on pinned by Umaid Asif, leaving Sindh at 199/5 in 36.3 overs.
However, Imran Rafiq (61* off 69) held his end perfectly and took the game towards the end for his side.
With 14 required from the last over and two wickets in hand, Imran struck a boundary off the third ball of the over before Ilyas fell short of his ground on the next ball.
Umaid Asif restricted Imran perfectly and didn’t concede a single run off the next two balls, restricting the opposition to 291.
Earlier, KPK got 300 off their 50 overs.
Mohammad Saad put up an impressive show with his 69 off 84 balls.
But Khushdil Shah, coming in at No 6, struck a magnificent hundred off just 65 balls. His knock consisted of eight boundaries and five sixes.
