Imad Wasim is expected to make the list of the 15-member squad despite a knee injury. The allrounder failed to pass the fitness test that the 22 probables underwent earlier this week.
ESPNcricinfo reported that the scans revealed that "Imad's knee problem did not hinder his ability with either bat or ball, and medical staff believe the problem will clear by the time the World Cup begins."
The PCB has not disclosed the results of the fitness tests yet but reports emerged that Imad Wasim, Yasir Shah, Abid Ali and Mohammad Hasnain failed to pass the test.
Mohammad Rizwan was reported as the fittest player with a score of 20 on the yo-yo test.
According to ESPNcricinfo, both Hasnain and Abid Ali are expected to be given more time to reach the required fitness levels given they are new to the set-up.
The final squad will be announced on April 18 while the team will depart for England on April 22.
