Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets in the 45th game of IPL 2019 to stay in the race for the playoffs.
Hyderabad managed 160 for eight, a total Rajasthan chased down with five balls to spare after putting the visitors into bat first. Manish Pandey top-scored with 61 off 36 balls while David Warner, who was removed courtesy a stunning catch by international compatriot Steve Smith off Oshane Thomas, scored 37 off 32.
Jaydev Unadkat, Thomas, Varun Aaron and Shreyas Gopal shared two wickets each with economical run-rates.
In reply, in-form wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson struck unbeaten 48 off 32 while Liam Livingstone smacked 44 off 26 as Rajasthan reached home without hiccups.
Shakib Al Hasan, Rashid Khan and Khaleel Ahmed took a wicket each.
Rajasthan's victory also helped table-toppers Chennai Super Kings become the first team to qualify for the playoffs with 16 points in 12 games.
Unadkat took the player of the match award for his spell of 2-26 including the wickets of Shakib (9 off 10) and Deepak Hooda (first-ball duck).
