The fourth day of the Naya Nazimabad Ramzan Cup 2019 belonged to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Agha Estate as they won their games comfortably.
In the first match, SSGC posted 175 runs against Pakistan Customs, thanks to Umar Amin’s 81 off 50 deliveries. Adil Amin scored 51 off 40 balls.
Adil Amin stood out with his bowling performance as well, grabbing 3 wickets for 22 runs. Khushdil Shah was very economical for his 3 wickets for just 10 runs as the Pakistan Customs were bundled out for 129 in the last over.
Jibran Khan for his unbeaten 29 was the only notable contribution from Pakistan Customs. Adil Amin earned man of the match award for his all-round brilliance.
In the second match, Pakistan Air Force batted first against Agha Estate and scored 124 runs. Atiq-ur-Rehman topped the batting chart with 35 runs while Surab Baloch bagged 4 wickets for just 10 runs.
Chasing a reasonably easy total, Agha Estate’s middle-order steadied the innings after a shaky start. They lost the plot in the middle when two set batsmen Sami-ur-Rehman and M. Sarwar got out in quick succession after scoring 47 and 21 respectively.
The lower order batted slowly but got over the line with five wickets in hand. Surab Baloch was named Man of the Match.
NBP will face Rehman Foundation followed by an encounter between KK Panthers and Port Qasim Authority on Monday.
