Five top celebrations in 2019 World Cup

The ecstasy felt after dismissing a batsman is expressed in diverse ways. Some like to fist pump, others take off like an aircraft, Caribbean boys are quick to dance, and Sheldon Cottrell, who tops my list, gives a send-off by saluting the batsman!

1. Sheldon Cottrell

Left-arm seamer Sheldon Cottrell represents West Indies and is also part of the ICC WorldCup 2019 squad tops my list. He gives a hilarious send-off by marching on the pitch and then rocking a sharp military-style salute to the batsman. He deserves an accolade for doing it perfectly on every dismissal. The former soldier said his style has emerged out of respect for Jamaican Defence Force.

2. Imran Tahir

Imran Tahir has an energy-sapping frenzied celebration in which he takes off wildly on the field. Maybe he watched 'Forest Gump' a lot and got inspired by the character played by the legendary Tom Hanks. The leggie just loves to run that's why he is still going strong at 40!

3. Hasan Ali

Hasan Ali's bomb explosion style is contagious. He demonstrates detonation and makes a loud 'boom' sound to let the batsman know that he has been castled! It's one heck of a celebration that gets Pakistani fans pumped up and right behind him. Lately, he didn't have many opportunities to trigger the bomb which is quite surprising as he was a top-ranked bowler in 2017 but the fiery pacer is trying hard to get his mojo back in the ongoing ICC WorldCup 2019.

4. Lasith Malinga

5. Muhammad Amir
