Khulna Titans have declared Shane Watson as one of its two direct overseas signings for the 2019-2020 edition of the Bangladesh Premier League.
Khulna finished last in the previous season and are banking on Watson's firepower with the bat to lead them to an elusive BPL title this time around.
Watson is expected to be available for the entirety of BPL which is scheduled to kick off in the first week of December.
"I am super excited to join the Khulna Titans for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League season," Watson said in a video message.
"The coaching and management team at the Khulna Titans are putting together an amazing squad, so hopefully we can bring home that title that we have always been looking for."

Watson played his last international match in March 2016 but has since been a regular presence in various T20 leagues around the world including the IPL.
He nearly led Chennai Super Kings to a record fourth title earlier this year and will now be gearing up for the all-new Euro T20 Slam.
