Haddin roped in as assistant coach for Sunrisers Hyderabad

Brad Haddin has been inducted as an assistant coach for the Sunrisers Hyderabad for the next season of the IPL.

Haddin joins a new coaching setup which will be led by head coach Trevor Bayliss, who recently replaced Tom Moody.

Haddin replaces assistant coach Simon Helmot, the former Melbourne Renegades coach who served in the position since the start of 2013.

SRH will hope that their new coaches will help them further with their on-field success, which has seen them qualify to the play-offs in each of the last four seasons.

While Bayliss has already served as coach for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Haddin too has IPL experience with the Kolkata Knight Riders although they weren’t involved together for the franchise.

Haddin played in the 2011 season while Bayliss coached the side between 2012 and 2015 before becoming the England head coach in 2015.

He is currently involved with Australia as a fielding and wicket-keeping coach following his appointment in August 2017.
