Fakhar Zaman will not be available for the remainder of the ongoing pre-season conditioning camp after being advised to rest for a period of one week due to his right knee injury.
Earlier, it was reported that Fakhar had yet to resume his training for which he underwent an MRI.
His scans were examined by the PCB Medical Advisory Committee, which had suggested him to continue his rehabilitation programme.
The panel will review his process of recovery after 10 days before taking a decision to ensure his safe return to competitive cricket.

Fakhar struggled for form in the recently concluded World Cup where he could manage just 186 runs across eight innings at an average of 23.25.
He then represented Glamorgan in the T20 Blast before being called up by the PCB to participate in the pre-season camp commanded by former Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq.
