Guyana Amazon Warriors have roped in Imran Tahir and Qais Ahmad as replacements for Pakistan international leg-spinner Shadab Khan and USA player Saurabh Netravalkar.
Shadab, the star of Guyana's unbeaten run in the competition thus far, has claimed seven wickets at an average of just under 11 in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League season.
He will have to cut short his stint with Guyana captained by fellow compatriot Shoaib Malik to leave for domestic commitments.
Tahir will be rejoining the Amazon Warriors, for whom he racked up a tally of 16 wickets at 17.75 in CPL 2018.
Netravalkar was drafted into the Guyana squad as an ICC Americas player but the rules allow for him to be replaced by an overseas cricketer making way for teenage Afghan leg-spinner Qais.
Qais enjoyed success in last year's CPL for the previous incarnation of the St Lucia franchise.
He has an impressive average of 18 across 27 T20 matches, also having starred in Balkh Legends' title-winning campaign in the inaugural Afghanistan Premier League.
