Former England coach Andy Flower has been named as head coach of Maratha Arabians in T10 league.
Flower had recently called time on his 12-year stay with the England and Wales Cricket Board.
During his tenure as head coach, England achieved a lot of success. England's Test side were ranked No 1 in the world, they lifted T20 World Cup in 2010 and then won the Ashes in Australia in 2010-11.
"I have just come off a tremendous run with English cricket and am now looking ahead to the future with hope," Flower said.
"Anything that is new and is innovative like T10 cricket always has an automatic appeal. From a coaching perspective it presents new challenges to test yourself against in a world-class environment."
Maratha Arabians had made it to the semi-finals in the last season, finishing at fourth place after losing the play-off for third position.
The league has been shifted to Abu Dhabi this season and will be starting on November 15.
