Babar Azam’s 143 against Bangladesh has vaulted him to fifth spot in the ICC Test Rankings. This makes him the only player to be in the top five rankings in all formats of the game.
Before the start of the Test series, Babar was placed at seventh spot in the rankings as he continues to make a significant impact in the longest format of the game.
He has scored a total of four centuries at an average of 102.5 in the ongoing ICC Test Championship.
His recent hundred moved him two places ahead of David Warner and Cheteshwar Pujara. Virat Kohli tops the batting charts whereas Steven Smith sits on the second place.
Babar also occupies the first and third spot in T20I and ODI rankings respectively.
