Indian pace bowler Ashish Nehra has decided to retire from all forms of cricket after India’s first T20I against New Zealanad at his home ground, Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi.
The 38-year-old right-arm bowler began his career in the 1990s and throughout his career fought injuries. He had as many as 12 surgeries during his international career.
He was part of India’s successful World Cup campaign in 2011.
Nehra picked up 229 wickets across all formats in 146 international matches.
