Hardik Pandya was included in India’s ODI squad to face South Africa, it was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
The 26-year-old had been facing lower back issues and underwent successful surgery in October.

The selectors decided to rest Rohit Sharma as he picked up a calf problem that forced him to miss the New Zealand Test series, where India faced a 2-0 whitewash.
