Senior Pakistan paceman Sohail Tanvir has tested positive for coronavirus after arriving in Sri Lanka to participate in the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League.
Tanvir is part of the Kandy Tuskers squad and is the second overseas player from the franchise to test positive for the virus.
The 35-year-old most recently played in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he was a member of the Multan Sultans' line-up in two games during the playoffs. Multan eventually lost the second Eliminator to runners-up Lahore Qalandars, forcing an exit for Tanvir's team.
