The Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises have made some significant changes to their squads as a total of five foreign players have replaced players that were fully or partially unavailable for the entire season.
South Africa's senior batsman Faf du Plessis has been picked as a partial replacement for Platinum pick Chris Gayle in Quetta Gladiators whereas Islamabad United have replaced three of its players due to their unavailability; Chris Jordan, Reece Topley and Colin Munro have been replaced by Ali Khan, Paul Stirling and Fawad Ahmed in the United squad.
Topley has been named in the T20I squad for the tour of India where former Peshawar Zalmi batsman Liam Livingstone will join him. England batsman Tom-Kohler Cadmore, who represented the Gladiators in the 2018 season, will replace compatriot Livingstone in Peshawar Zalmi's squad.
The tournament will commence on February 20 across the two venues of Lahore and Karachi and the players have already started linking up with their respective teams in Karachi.
