Jason Holder banned for the second Test

West Indies captain Jason Holder has been banned for a match and fined 60 percent of his match fee by the International Cricket Council for maintaining a slow over rate in the first Test against New Zealand.

West Indies were three overs short of their target at Wellington last week which saw the rest of the players in the playing XI getting fined 30 percent of their match-fees (10 percent for each over).

This was Holder’s second offence in the past 12 months and fifth overall in his captaincy.

West Indies are 1-0 down in the two-match series.
