Patrick James Cummins Career

Patrick James Cummins is an Australian cricket player who is a right-handed batsman and fast bowler. He mainly plays as a fast bowler and as an all-rounder too whenever required. Cummins made his debut in Test cricket at a very tender age of 18 and managed to achieve something very few people can. His ideal was Brett Lee and he says he was quite motivated and inspired by him. He made his entrance in first-class cricket in 2010, playing for Penrith.

He crafted his space as the main wicket taker in the T20 Big Bash League 2010. Pat made his International debut against South Africa in 2011 and played significantly well. He made his ODI and Test debut around the same time in October and November all the while. When he got introduced in Test cricket against South Africa in 2011, a lot was expected from him and as expected, he did not disappoint and also won Man of the Match award. He got injured for a while too. Pat Cummins has played club cricket for the Indian Premier League and the Big Bash League. He has also won the Allan Border Medal which is considered to be the most prestigious individual prize in Australian men's cricket.
