Injured Anderson calls English schedule ‘ridiculous’

English cricket team is currently preparing for the ODI series against Australia in order to get ready for the all-important India tour starting July 3rd.

English pacer James Anderson has been ruled out of action for 6 weeks after he injured his shoulder during practice.

The pacer is not pleased with the schedule of England India series as he feels it is ridiculous to play 5 Test matches within six weeks.

“The India schedule is ridiculous with five Tests in six weeks and that will put a lot of stress on it. The way the fixtures have fallen it is a shame I will miss some games for Lancashire,” he added.

Moreover, he also said that his shoulder has been a concern for the past couple of years now, but he had been managing it before this due to lesser stress on the body due to a balanced schedule.
