The greatest Indian captain MS Dhoni has contributed massively in steering India to grab all top prizes in world cricket. His presence only was the nightmare for the opposition teams which eventually led India to win the No.1 Test ranking title, the 50-over World Cup in 2011 and the World T20 in 2007.
Apart from captaincy, MS Dhoni has also been a performer with the bat in all forms of cricket. He played 90 Tests (retired), 318 ODIs and 92 T20Is in which he scored 4876, 9967 and 1487 runs at an average of 38.09, 51.37 and 37.17 respectively.
MS Dhoni, who recently completed 500 international matches have not scored a single century outside Asia. He scored 6 Test centuries (1 in Pakistan) and (5 in India) whereas in ODIs, he scored 10 centuries (1 in Pakistan) (1 in Bangladesh) and (8 in India).
In T20Is, he has never scored a century so far. According to the cricketing pundits, MS Dhoni could be a different batsman if he was promoted up the batting order.
