Pakistan top order was hit by the lighting spell of a fast bowler, Trent Boult who clinched a superb hatrick to push Pakistan only in his second over. He picked up the wickets of Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez.
Pakistan’s attacking batsman, Fakhar Zaman who recently achieved a world record of scoring quickest 1000 ODI runs, is been struggling for form since the Zimbabwe tour. Since his world record, he has only managed to score 57 runs in six innings with a meagre average of just 9.50.
Pakistan who largely depends on Fakhar to provide them with the great start and has largely been hit by his run drought and it’s not coincidence that Pakistan’s poor run of form in ODI’s is coinciding along Fakhar’s pathetic form.
