New Zealand was cruising to the big total in the first innings when Pakistan’s leg-spinner, Shadab Khan turned the tables around for his team. Young leggie took three wickets within a span of just four balls to keep New Zealand at bay.
Shadab’s sent Tom Latham, Henry Nicholls and Colin de Grandhomme packing in the same over. Prior to this deadly blow, he had also taken the wicket of New Zealand captain, Kane Williamson. Shadab finished his bowling spell with four wickets for 38 runs.
Shadab’s partner in crime, Imad Wasim was left quite by the kiwi batsman for a larger part of the innings and only managed to take one wicket in his eight overs.
