The nippy paceman of Pakistan Hasan Ali has been a delighting prospect as the budding cricketer enjoys a sterling record in the limited-overs cricket. The 24-year old talented paceman bagged the man of the series award in Pakistan’s historic triumph in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
While his current form isn’t a true reflection of his bowling credentials, his ODI bowling record is sublime which can easily be classified into two categories. In games where Pakistan had to bowl first saw the best of the Peshawar Zalmi’s pacer, but he has been a mediocre performer while bowling second.
To add weight to the above argument, statistics can be used which reveals that bowling first Hasan picked 52 wickets in 17 games at a peculiar bowling average of 19.51. His bowling average, however, swells to 30.90 bowling second as Hasan has claimed only 21 wickets in as many games.
