Indian spinner Krunal Pandya surprised many during the second Twenty20 International (T20I) against West Indies in Lucknow on Tuesday.
In the 13th over of Windies innings, Krunal bowled a bouncer to Carlos Brathwaite. This not only shocked the Windies captain, but also left India’s wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik and captain Rohit Sharma wide-eyed. Karthik eventually failed to collect the ball as it raced away to the boundary. However, the match was won by India.
After two back to back wins against West Indies in the first two T20I encounters, India will aim to continue their winning run and register a clean sweep in the three-match series when they take on the visitors in the third and final T20I in Chennai on Sunday.
