After 3 seasons of resounding success with Peshawar Zalmi, Mohammad Hafeez has finally parted ways with the former PSL champions. An integral member of the team across the 3 editions, Hafeez will now be among the list of players to be picked in the draft.
Acknowledging his great service to Zalmi over the years, captain Darren Sammy lauded the 38-year-old and called it a wonderful experience to have shared the dressing room with Hafeez. Reciprocating his kind words, the right-hander hoped that Sammy will be fit to lead the team in the future.
Hafeez played 33 matches for the Peshawar-based franchise, scoring 671 runs at an average of 22.36 and a strike rate of 113.53.
